Please join our Modoc Nation Honoring Our Ancestors Virtual Walk to remember the 153 men, women, and children who endured the 2,000-mile journey from Fort Klamath to the Quapaw Agency in 1873.

We will begin our virtual walk on October 10, 2024 and conclude on November 16, 2024. These dates coincide with the time it took our ancestors to make that journey.

We hope that all participants will collectively reach the goal of 2,000 miles. This run is open to anyone who would like to participate. We are asking for a $10 donation to join. Participants will receive a 2024 Modoc Nation Honoring Our Ancestors Virtual Walk t-shirt.

3. Track your daily miles by filling out the form below. This information will be sent to the Virtual Walk moderator.
