Responsibilities

  • Process and monitor work orders and coordinate with contractors/vendors.
  • Process invoices for payments.
  • Answer phones and emails in a professional manner.
  • Handle rent collection and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage tenant relations and enforce tenant policies in coordination with the Executive Director.
  • Organize and file notices, leases, and paperwork.
  • Ensure completion of all recertification paperwork within required deadlines.
  • Maintain the property’s filing system, including applicant/resident, vendor, and contract files.
  • Maintain a positive customer relations attitude.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to support the Executive Director with special projects and enforce policies and procedures.
  • Occasionally assist with rental cleaning and item removal, requiring the ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Attend off-site training, which may require travel and overnight stays.
  • Review and process applications for prospective residents.
  • Assist other departments as needed.
  • Manage bank deposits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • 3+ years of customer service experience.
  • Must be willing and able to travel.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Property management experience preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years of receptionist experience preferred.

Schedule & Compensation

  • Part-time position.
  • Pay based on experience.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools.
  • Comfortable working in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.
