Wage:

$16.25/Hr, full-time

General Definition:

As a Front Desk Receptionist at Tribal Child Support Services, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and employees providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Great and welcome visitors, clients and employees in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls, screen and direct calls to appropriate individuals, take messages as needed
  • Manage the reception area, including maintaining a clean and organized workplace, managing visitor sing-in/sign-out procedures and ensuring security protocols are followed
  • Maintains confidentiality and security measures with all clients and visitors
  • Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization
  • Prepare letters, memos, correspondence, reports, and other program-related documents
  • Collect, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Maintain appointment calendar
  • Provide general support to office staff and assist with projects as needed

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to with other Tribal and State agencies as needed
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to comply with the Modoc Nation Drug Free policies
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Occasional travel is required to attend training/conferences

Experience:

  • Previous customer service or administrative experience 1-2 years (preferred)

Schedule:

  • Full-Time 40 hours per week Monday- Friday
