Job Summary:

The Installation/Service Technician will work with residential and commercial customers to ensure that all jobs are completed to our quality standards. The technician will need to be customer service-driven, have excellent communication skills, and be able to keep up with daily paperwork, such as invoicing, estimating, and timesheets.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Experience installing and servicing doors (rolling steel, sectional, high speed, man doors)

· Familiar with garage door openers and gate openers

· Comfortable working at heights using ladders and lifts

· Basic framing and electrical experience

· Experience with acetylene torch

· Welding skills preferred

· Willingness to work outdoors and adapt to varying weather conditions

· Demonstrate a good work ethic and attitude

· Strong problem-solving abilities

· Willing to travel for out-of-town service/installation

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· 2 or more years’ experience with doors or similar construction

· Clean driving record

Hours of employment:

This employee shall maintain regular hours Monday through Friday (up to 40 hours/week). Schedule may require some evening or weekend work with notice from the supervisor.
