Duties:

1. Provide oversight of up to 18 grant projects and serve as direct supervisor for Grant Project staff (some exclusions for direct service staff) responsible for implementing grant projects.

2. Serve as a liaison between grant consultants, project directors, and program staff.

3. Attend all grant-related meetings with granting agencies, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure that Modoc Nation is represented at required grant meetings, virtual or in-person as needed.

4. Develop, monitor, and update timeline for each grants reporting deadlines to ensure reporting requirements are met in a timely manner.

5. Collaborate with project staff and consultants to develop tracking systems for required reporting data.

6. Coordinate with Business Office Director to ensure expeditious expensing of grant funding for approved line items, that the most current budget is being utilized, and that required budget revisions/modification request have been made to grantor, as necessary.

7. Maintain record of all grant related documentation, including past and current Project Narrative, Budget Narrative, Notice of Award, grant submission packet, and other related documents.

8. Review and submit necessary documentation to appropriate reporting portals, as needed.

9. Coordinate with project staff to collect qualitative and quantitative data relevant for upcoming reports and assist Project Directors in completing required reporting and data tracking worksheets.

10. Ensure all reports and grantor requests are submitted in a timely matter.

11. Collaborate with Project Director and Outreach Coordinator to ensure that printed materials align with grant initiative and meet grant requirements, as well as fall within the budgeted amount for outreach.

12. Collaborate with grant writers on existing projects and future funding opportunity applications.

13. Seek new funding opportunities that align with program goals and MNHS future plans.

14. Coordinate with Program Directors to ensure grant objectives are being met and integrated into program workflow.

15. Complete any necessary documentation required to close out grant projects.

16. Provide support and training to staff in understanding the grant process, procedures, requirements, and project activities.

17. Attend monthly all team meetings to provide project updates at Lost River Treatment Center and Modoc Nation Behavioral Health.

18. Participate in outreach events, as needed.

19. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a health-related field.

· 5 + years of previous experience managing and implementing federal grants.

· Prior experience providing supervision and oversight of staff preferred.

Supervisory relationships:

This position will operate under the direct supervision of the Modoc Nation Health Services Executive Director.

Hours of employment:

This Employee shall maintain regular business hours Monday through Friday (up to 40 hours/week). From time to time this employee may be required to travel or work outside standard office hours to accommodate grantor meeting times.

Compensation:

Salary ranges from $55,000 to $80,000 (DOE) plus benefits, including off on federal holidays, PTO, medical, dental, and vision.
