Modoc Nation Virtual Run

Please join our Modoc Nation Honoring Our Ancestors Virtual Walk to remember the 153 men, women, and children who endured the 2,000-mile journey from Fort Klamath to the Quapaw Agency in 1873. We will begin our virtual walk on October 16th, following the Modoc Ancestral Run in the homelands.
The virtual event will run from October 16 – November 16 (but you can log your miles beginning October 12). These dates coincide with the time it took our ancestors to make that journey. Our hope is that collectively, all participants will reach the goal of 2,000 miles. This run is open to anyone who would like to participate. We are asking for a $10 donation to join. Participants will receive an Honoring Our Ancestors Virtual Walk t-shirt.
Here is how to participate:
1. Follow the link below to register.
2. Join Strava. We are also asking you to join the Tracking App Strava. Strava is the app that will allow participants to log their miles. Once you register on the link above you will receive an email and in the email is the link to Strava. Please join Strava and find our club: Modoc Nation Club. There is NO need to start the 30-day free trial, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER YOUR credit card info on the Strava App. You are able to use the app FREE and can log your miles. It is fun and we can watch our miles grow together!
Once you have registered, provided your $10 donation, and signed up for Strava you are now ready to participate in the 2nd Annual Modoc Nation Honoring Our Ancestors Virtual Walk.
