Job Summary:

Lost River Treatment Center (LRTC) is an outpatient rural-based program that provides intervention to adults (18 years and older), Native and non-Native. Our program provides treatment for issues related to addiction, substance misuse, and/or mental health disorders. We take a holistic approach to treatment, addressing every aspect of the client’s mental health and well-being. Each client is valued as a unique individual who deserves, respect, dignity, care, and culturally sensitive options.

Treatment population: The program services ages 18 years old and up; providing outpatient behavioral health treatment related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, AD/HD, & substance misuse.

At LRTC we have put great importance on the work atmosphere for our staff and the quality of services we offer to the community.

1. Conduct consultations with new therapy clients, providing initial evaluation & assessment to determine suitability for individual, family, and / or group psychotherapy. Make appropriate, culturally responsive diagnostic determinations according to the DSM-5.

2. Develop and update treatment plans for clients.

3. Provide individual, family, & group psychotherapy (minimum one group per week) to a caseload of up to 30 clients.

4. Enter and maintain accurate client data in the electronic medical record to track client progress.

5. Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings & clinical team meetings, as well as training and consultation to further develop clinical skillset.

6. Abide by MNBH policies and all ethical and legal guidelines related to the provision of clinical services per Oklahoma law, HIPAA, and code of ethics governed by your professional organization(s).

7. Attend events in the community as needed.

8. Network with others in community partner organizations.

9. All other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Works with staff in developing and transforming ideas into a grant proposal

·Developing ideas into grant proposals

·  Conduct research for potential funding sources, maintain databases, and work in collaboration with staff in the development of grant applications

· Participates in meetings in which decisions affecting grant program applications and follow-through are made

· Performs a variety of other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

1. Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, Licensed Professional Counselor, Clinical Psychology or related field.

2. Current licensure in good standing as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LADC. MNBH will consider unlicensed and / or out of state candidates pursuing OK licensure. Supervision expense is covered by MNBH.

3. Clinical practice experience required; and experience facilitating experiential interventions and working with animals required for Hope Ranch BHP position.

4. Must have reliable transportation.

5. Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening & background check.

Skills:

Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills. Knowledge of a wide range of psychosocial, cognitive and/or developmental disorders. Basic computer knowledge. Understanding of State and Licensure based ethics.

Education:

Education: Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work, Counseling, or a behavioral health related field. Applicant must possess a license as a LADC, LPC, LCSW, or equivalent. Applicant must have experience working with clients who have both mental illness and substance abuse disorders. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and Crisis Prevention (CPI) during orientation and prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.

Supervision:

This position will operate under the direct supervision of the Modoc Nation Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor.

Schedule:

This employee shall maintain regular business hours (40 hours per week) Monday – Friday between the hours of 10am – 6pm.
